This was spot on! I naively purchased $75 VIP tickets for my sisters birthday. On the way to the venue in Chicago it was a torrential downpour. When we got to the space we were saturated. Water was pouring off our hair and my friend had to take her pants off. No sort of towel or anything was offered to mop up the water. They simply stared at us asking for my ticket. My phone was so wet I couldn't turn it on. We ended up sitting on those tiny mats in a freezing cold room, as employees walked rapidly back-and-forth during the program. What a horrible waste of money! Excellent article.
