Alyssa- Thank you for your kind words about animals. I have been saying this same thing for years (what you say in your title) but I've eventually stopped. I think people do know about animal cruelty, but choose to ignore it because they, as you said, just love meat, especially in the Midwest, where I live. All we can do is eat the way we want the world to be, ourselves. When we say we love animals, we truly mean it.
